President Bio Responds to Accusations Made by Dr. Samura Kamara

In the past in Sierra Leone, political alliances have been made to secure the country’s peace, security, and development. However, the recent accusation made by Dr. Samura Kamara, the former flag bearer of the All People’s Congress (APC), has sparked controversy. President Bio, the current President of Sierra Leone, has responded to Dr. Kamara’s claims in an attempt to clarify the situation.

President Bio’s Response to Dr. Kamara’s Accusation

In response to Dr. Kamara’s accusation that the SLPP and NGC alliance is merely a “Lip Service” alliance, President Bio stated that the NGC party is a great party that has shown itself throughout its existence. He clarified that he will be dedicating his second term in office to approaching all progressive groups, including the APC, for the peace, security, and development of the country.

President Bio’s Plans for Sierra Leone’s Development

President Bio made it clear that his focus is on Sierra Leone’s development, and he does not have a 1961 agenda for the country. Instead, he is focusing on the fourth industrial revolution, which he believes cannot be achieved alone but with the help of well-meaning Sierra Leoneans.

The President also recently joined an alliance with some APC members who have spent almost all their lives in the APC but have realized the programs he put forward are for the good of the country. He emphasized that there is only one Sierra Leone, and if anyone has to put their egos aside for its growth, they should have the courage to do so, which he believes Dr. Kandeh Yumkell and others have already done.

The Social Contract and the Transformation of APC Supporters

President Bio also mentioned that many APC supporters are on the verge of transforming to the SLPP due to the social contract his party has kept under very difficult circumstances. He believes that his party’s policies and actions have won the trust of many Sierra Leoneans who were once opposed to the SLPP.

The Call for a Peaceful Election

Finally, President Bio concluded by stating that he believes Sierra Leone will have a peaceful election and called on citizens to comply with law and order for a peaceful outcome of the elections. He believes that the country’s peace and security are paramount, and everyone should work towards achieving that goal.

Conclusion

In conclusion, President Bio has responded to Dr. Samura Kamara’s accusations of the SLPP and NGC alliance being a “Lip Service” alliance. The President has clarified his plans for the country’s development and his commitment to approaching all progressive groups, including the APC, for the peace, security, and development of Sierra Leone. He has also emphasized the need for Sierra Leoneans to work together for the growth of the country and called for a peaceful election.
