Overview
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program for 2023 is now accepting applications. The France Government Scholarship program will grant up to 500 scholarships to international students this academic year. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program is available for fully funded Master’s and Ph.D. studies in France.
This is the most prestigious international scholarship program for international students to study in France. Students can choose to study at any public or private university in any academic field in France.
The Eiffel scholarship program is a tool developed by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assist French institutions of higher education in attracting the best foreign students to Master’s and Doctoral/Phd degree programs.
Eligibility
- Government of France Eiffel scholarships for international students are only open to foreigners.
- Master’s degree candidates must be under 30 years old.
- Candidates for a Ph.D. must not be older than 35 years.
- Many universities will admit you without IELTS or TOEFL.

The master’s and doctoral components of the Eiffel scholarships are comprised of the following seven areas of study:

- Biology and Health

Durtion of Scholarship
Master’s level
- A maximum of 12 months when enrolling in an M2
- A maximum of 24 months when enrolling in an M1
- A maximum of 36 months for the completion of an engineering degree
Doctorate level
The Eiffel scholarship is awarded for a period of 12 months in France.
Financial Benefits
The Eiffel Excellence Award is a free scholarship in France that covers all necessary fees.
Masters level:
- A monthly allowance of € 1,031 for living expenses.
- A round-trip international plane ticket from your home country to France.
- Insurance, housing searches, cultural activities, etc.
Doctorate level
- A monthly allowance of € 1,400 for living expenses
- A round-trip international plane ticket from your home country to France.
- National transportation, insurance, housing searches, cultural activities, etc.
